Seems sort of rude to embed a link to one's Web site (HERE) and instruct readers to, "Read here."
So, if you're - as am I - opposed to making numerous "clicks" ☺, here goes - in a nutshell (because I also lack a lot of patience in reading self-serving intros):
Advertising; Journalism; Corporate & Marketing Communications - pretty much in that order, professionally; this excludes the high school and college journalism experiences - however, my first published story in a major daily occured in 1975 when the Idaho Statesman printed a story I'd written about cerebral palsy on the section cover, above-the fold.
Today I still freelance as a journalist and am expending into creative and non-fiction writing, starting a venture to benefit kids and teach them about boating & water safety (I scuba dive) and enjoy growing daily - sometimes by the moment - as a writer, person, woman, spiritual human entity occupying this planet; I look forward daily to all that's available to be learned everyone - and every thing - here! ♪ ♫ ☼ ♫ ♪ Happy, sunny, joy-filled days!

Glad to meet you. I've had my nose buried in my writning lately...I can see I am going to have to learn to budget my time so I can answer these notes. It's so exciting to meet so many wonderful people.
Like you, I have done my share of protocal writings through my nursing profession. I helped organize and standarize the local paramedic program, as well as assisted in establishing the first dialysis program in Anchorage, Alaska. I've got to say, though, writing mystery/thriller fiction is so much more fun.
Hope to see you at the conference next year.
