About Me

What attracted me to SFWU was the choice of attending classes online. I don't know if I'm ready to "meet-up"  other  writers in some downtown coffee shop.

I am completely new to the discipline of writing. Yet, I have stories that need to be told. Stories I've rehearsed in my imagination, set some on paper and felt freer for having done so. I look forward to learning the craft of writing.

Four years of my life were invested in learning the craft of acting. I have a B.F.A. from North Carolina School of the Arts. It prepared me for  30 vested years of work in New York and L.A. Being grateful for actually "making a living" in my chosen craft, retirement has come too early. Recently, transplanted  to Charlotte from L.A., I still need a creative outlet. I am intimidated, scared and thrilled to be here!
