My first novel, An Affinity for Shadows, A Mainstream Literary Romance, has been published in print and eBook format and is now available at fine booksellers throughout the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Writing this novel was indeed a great pleasure. As many of you know, the book is about a broadcast journalist who rushes to the scene of 9/11 in pursuit of the perfect story. There she encounters a tragedy which prompts her to reexamine herself and change for the better. Throughout the book, she is reunited with her love interest, and journeys to Italy to rediscover her passion for love, life, and friendship. It is a story that I hope will remind the reader of the beautiful message in Leo M. Tolstoy's book. That the most important person is the one we're with, the most important time is now, and the most important thing is to do good for the one who is standing at your side.

To me, the story of Kate Theodore is an extraordinary journey, and the romance between Kate and her romantic interest, Sal Olivieri, has been an indulgence to scribe. There are stories that strike a chord in our hearts, and stay with us throughout our lifetimes, or teach us something we didn't previously know about ourselves. I hope that this will be one of those stories for you.
