Last night had the first meeting of the writers' group I established here in the Capital District of NY. It was AWESOME! The opportunity to get together with other aspiring authors and share stories, triumphs and setbacks was incredible. It exceeded my expectations by a factor of ten. Lots of great ideas, lots of energy. And more fun than I've had since that time I wrestled the pig and...  oh, wait, bad analogy. Bad story. Bad, bad...

Anyway, here's to the Southern Saratoga Writer's Group--thanks everyone, you were great! Looking forward to our next meeting, where we can actually get down to doing some critiquing.
