In the meantime, I received (through the backdoor, so to speak) a comment about the article, taken down from BC, but approved on my blog.

As a writer, I can see where writers become defensive-indignant-batshitcrazymad over reviews. It's your BABY someone is supposedly attacking/reviewing. But I can also see where common courtesy - not sucking up, but real manners - will win more friends than indiscriminate "Fuck yous".
